Fruit Rescue
Presently we are looking for fruit rescue volunteers, who are able to spend 1-3 hours picking apples and pears around down town Cochrane. A portion of the picked fruit, will go to the Cochrane Food Bank, the rest will go to the Cochrane Ecological Society. You are free to keep some of what you harvest if you wish. The Cochrane Ecological Society has 8 orphaned and injured baby deer this year, among their rehabilitation animals. That could really really take all the fruit we can pick.
